The Peacegiver
by James L. Farrell

In The Peacegiver, author James Farrell attempted an interesting feat: explain profound doctrinal concepts in an accessible format through character development and dialog. While the story focuses on a broken marriage, Farrell attempts to show through the main character how the gospel of Jesus Christ can help heal all human relationships. It wasn't completely effective in my view, but I appreciated the attempt to explain things in an understandable way. It is very hard to convey deeply personal meaning in writing, but Farrell made a good attempt.
